Winter break is pretty awesome in my house because as I am in the academic field I get to share the lazy, frigid, days with my son.  The current (and future) postings collected under the "Adventure City Heroes" moniker has been a an exercise in working with my six-year-old and by doing so showing him how to collaborate and how the give-and-take of the creative process works.  He also is at a point where he is confident enough in his own abilities to actively take the iPad and stylus and add/remove things or do a quick revision doodle over the top something else. Lots of reality keeping me from drawing...or rather drawing anything worth posting... HOWEVER... Avengers was the best popcorn summer blockbuster since I geeked out over Spider-Man 2 or X2. one minor issue... Captain America's costume was distractingly terrible.  There are so many designs here on deviantART that even the most basic search will yield hundreds of designs that would have translated to the film better than what was on screen. for instance...some basic layers and not just random seams... http://fav.me/d4x8a71 just one example of many.
